EJDB is looking for a self-driven entry-level designer to join our growing team . Responsibilities:
Design Support:Â Assist in creating design documents including as-built drawings, conceptual designs, and construction documents under the guidance of the Lead Designer.
Client Engagement:Â Support client interactions by preparing presentation materials, attending meetings, and participating in site visits to ensure design specifications are met.
Technical Assistance:Â Help in the preparation and submission of documents for permitting and contribute to project scheduling and tracking.
Creative Contributions:Â Engage in the selection of materials, finishes, and fixtures in line with the project requirements.
Administrative Tasks:Â Assist in maintaining project documentation, tracking design hours, and managing receipts and expenses.
Learning and Development:Â Actively participate in learning opportunities within the company and its affiliations to enhance skills and knowledge in design, software tools, and project management.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:Â Proficiency in AutoCAD required; experience with Adobe Suite or SketchUp is a plus.
Work Experience:Â Previous internship or 1-2 years of experience in a design-related field preferred.
Soft Skills:Â Strong organizational abilities, keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
