MCLEAN PROJECT
Erika Jayne Design was hired to design the remodel of this 1980's home when the homeowners, a young family of four (2 big, 1 small, and a pup), purchased their home. They hoped for light and bright spaces that were both kid and pet-friendly without compromising on style. A larger kitchen within the existing footprint of the home and a spa-like master bathroom was high on their wish-list. Walls were removed, floors leveled, and the kitchen and master bathroom layout were totally reconfigured to offer the family a more open floor plan. Furnishings and accessories were sourced with durable stain-resistant qualities all while maintaining a casual yet chic aesthetic.
