MARKETING SPECIALIST

EJDB is looking for a motivated individual to head our marketing efforts. Your main objective is to help drive sales, brand recognition, build and maintain relationships, and manage our social media platforms. Your duties will include researching target audiences, recording and tracking data, overseeing the company’s social media channels to ensure brand uniformity, and build and maintain relationships with our trade partners and our existing and prospective clientele. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and plan all marketing efforts including: graphic design, website design, social media outreach, blog posts, newsletters, and to promote our completed projects through local and national print and web publications, and industry competitions

  • Identify and utilize efficient marketing and promotional avenues, specifically those used to convey company positions to clients and potential clients,

  • Evaluate and assess the performance of our marketing campaigns and strategies

  • Create and nurture our connections with new and existing clientele through communication, marketing, and networking

  • Content creation for our social media channels, blog posts, and company newsletters

  • Keep up-to-date on social media trends and statistics, SEO optimization, and industry-related topics/trends

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in computer, social media apps, and video/media editing apps

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • A love of social media and content creation

  • A love of residential design and industry-related content

  • A keen eye for aesthetics and detail 

  • Photography & videography skills (Bonus Points)

ASSOCIATE DESIGNER

EJDB is looking for a self-driven designer  . If you have an interior design background with AutoCAD skills and love re-designing existing space and creating new space, this would be a perfect fit for you. If you have an architectural background and love working with interiors, this would be a perfect fit for you. Many of our projects include renovation work which involve interior architectural changes and require a complete set of construction documents to submit for permitting. 

 

Responsibilities:​​

  • Accurately field measure and transcribe to as-built drawings

  • Works directly with lead designer and principal to create as-built drawings, conceptual design drawings, permit drawings, and construction documents

  • Creatively solve spatial problems with an eye for the aesthetics

  • Research local zoning laws, environmental factors, and structural issues relevant to projects

  • Keep paper trails, collect payments, and log design hours, receipts, and expenses

  • Prioritize a positive and exciting design experience for the client

  • Work with client, including but not limited to, showroom visits, providing samples, providing resources, etc.

  • Research and stay current with latest design trends (materials, finishes, fixtures, appliances, etc.)

  • Submit and track orders through our procurement schedule

  • Help maintain the project and purchasing budget

 

Requirements:​

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in the interior design or architectural field

  • AutoCAD / Revit / Chief Architect Software (must be fluent in at least 1)

  • SketchUp (Bonus Points)

  • Graphic Design Capabilities (Adobe Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) (Double Bonus Points)

  • A positive vibe and a good sense of humor!
